Children want to sing. They enjoy their music, and wish to copy their favourite artists. However, did you know that their voices are not able to do what an adult voice can? A child’s larynx is physiologically different to an adult’s, and this impacts on their singing. It should not mean that they miss out on singing lessons.
Beccy is aware of the anatomical differences in children’s voices, and how they change during puberty for both boys and girls.
Whether your child wishes to take exams, or sing for fun, Beccy is happy to take children on from any age.
Beccy will encourage all children to access both their lower and upper registers, through music and fun games, which will benefit them later when their voice matures. She will also look at breathing, posture, and performance.
All of this is done in a safe environment, and Beccy has a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
